How we assess brands.

We asses all of our partners bi-annually with an extensive list of criteria. We ask our partners for evidence on sustainability practices from their producers. According to the stage our partners are in (start-ups or established businesses) this evidence naturally varies.

In general, we accept third-party certifications, life cycle assessment (LCA) results, and supporting documents for sustainability claims as proof.

For smaller brands that are not certified yet, we currently largely rely on their own information regarding traceability and sustainability.
